The headline claims that you cannot be fired for posting about your job on Facebook. This is patently false.
While there is, in limited cases, National Labor Relations Board jurisdiction to reverse some actions against employees, it is simply false – DEAD false – that “you cannot be fired for talking about your job” on Facebook. At-will employment is the iron rule of most states and the federal jurisdiction to reverse at-will firings is very, very limited in reach both in theory and in practice.
Someone should be reprimanded at Lawyers.com for making the Internet, as unlikely as it seems, even stupider.
